It was five years ago on this day that my life’s trajectory would forever change. While life was already different because of the overreaction to COVID-19, it wasn’t until the overreaction to what happened to George Floyd that everything turned upside down.
At the time, I didn’t fully appreciate reporting on the true nature of the BLM movement since their approval rating hit 70% by June 2020. That support was evidenced by all the support it was getting from nearly every name-brand company and your high school friends posting that dumb black square on Instagram.
While it feels weird to bring up this same topic five years removed from when it happened, it is important to speak the truth of what happened in the Twin Cities because the far-left and mainstream Democrats continue to downplay the unnecessary destruction.

Thank’s God we can make comment’s freely after 4 years of dictatorship and stupid “woke”of Biden’s Admin. We are free but how much time we have in front of us? Nobody knows. I have the feeling maybe for another 4 more after Trump. After that….who knows….. Is other Country we can live free in this World? I doubt it
It was such a surreal experience to be a normal person watching your country go completely insane. I'm glad there seems to have been a long-overdue counter-reaction, mostly strongly manifested in the re-election of Donald Trump. But I do feel nervous that it could happen again
