New Jersey Police Arrived To Help DHS In Newark...Then They Left
The confrontations between Homeland Security and anti-ICE rioters outside of Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey did not stop on Friday night. While the day started out slowly, it was partially due to New Jersey State Police setting up roadblocks and making protesters park further away.
That calm, if you could call it that, did not last after state troopers gave a dispersal order to the crowd. The anti-ICE protesters rushed to move their vast amount of supplies closer to Delaney Hall.
State police then moved in to clear the crowd away from blocking Delaney Hall’s driveway to allow vehicles to leave and enter, resulting in clashes. Police used tear gas, pepper balls, and mounted troopers to push them back. DHS personnel, who had been in a standoff all day with the crowd, helped to dislodge the mob.

But right as the police had the anti-ICE rioters on the run, they suddenly left.
I was doing a live hit with Katie Pavlich on NewsNation when the state police started to withdraw. Katie asked me why they were doing that.
“That’s a good question!” I replied…
