WEST COAST, U.S.A. — I always told myself if I was ever back in either Portland, Oregon or Seattle, Washington, it better be because something is on fire. So when fires were being started in Los Angeles as part of the anti-ICE riots, I knew it was only a matter of time before I would be back in the Pacific Northwest.
I am now returning from spending the past week on the West Coast and it is safe to assume I’ll be back in that part of the United States soon.
SEATTLE
First stop was in Seattle for the “No Kings” rally. While the main march was uneventful, the Department of Homeland Security building in Tukwila, 15 minutes outside of Seattle, was being targeted by the local Antifa crowd.
After blocking both driveways for a few hours, Tukwila police officers arrived in riot gear to move Antifa to sidewalk. The agitators who were facing the building, turned to face the local police.
Customs and Border Protection agents then came out of the DHS building and moved in at the same time to squeeze the Antifa rioters. Fighting broke out, crowd control munitions were used, and at least one person was arrested.
But the crowd did not completely leave and after the Tukwila officers and CBP agents withdrew once federal vehicles left the parking lot, the makeshift barricades was erected once again. The crowd eventually left on its own.
LOS ANGELES
L.A. is in a weird spot now. With being the spark of the current wave of unrest, it sets the standard to how people will react to immigration enforcement efforts. The large-scale outbursts have subsided for now, especially after Saturday’s riot during the “No Kings” march there, but the resistance efforts are still underway. I was with Border Patrol units on Tuesday to see firsthand how enforcement operations are working with the additional manpower sent to the county.
The small caravan I was with were all unmarked SUVs. That helped being able to scope out locations to find illegal aliens, but the same could not be said for the marked Border Patrol vehicles in Pico Rivera. Fighting broke out in a Walmart parking lot and a U.S. citizen was arrested for allegedly punching an agent.
Our unmarked SUVs were eventually discovered as well, with one driver hoking his horn at one of the vehicles. He was so preoccupied with the one he had discovered, he drove right past the other two SUVs.
Anti-ICE locals are so hyper-vigilant, it takes little to get them into the action. A recent example from today was the news spreading on social media of ICE apparently being spotted at a parking lot for Dodger Stadium. The far-left in the city are already pissed the baseball team has not put out a statement condemning the immigration operations (Why would they? They’re a freaking baseball team).
Regardless, protesters quickly showed up to the parking lot to cause a disruption. DHS says “CBP vehicles were in the stadium parking lot very briefly, unrelated to any operation or enforcement.” The Dodgers said the federal agents were denied entry and tonight’s game will proceed as planned.
Los Angeles is entering a low-intensity level of chaos. While the crowds are no longer gathering in large numbers downtown, they will resort to acting as “minute-they/thems” to respond to any perceived immigration operation happening close by. That said, the city is primed to have large-scale riots once again.
Portland
I can say a lot of things about Portland. None of them are good. It is a city I truly loathe having to go to when things get sporty there. It is an area that I would be fine with never visiting again in my life, but due to my addiction to chaos, “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.”
The last time I was in Portland, I was covering Antifa rioting in response to Joe Biden’s 2021 inauguration. The last location Antifa rioted at? The ICE building in the south side of the city near the waterfront. I knew I would go back to that exact location when L.A. popped off at some point.
Sure enough, Antifa has rioted outside of the ICE facility on a near nightly-basis this month. Last night, they blocked the driveway for hours. The Federal Protective Service gave nearly 20 warnings for mob to disperse, which of course, they did not do.
So DHS agents had to come out to clear the way, using flash bangs, tear gas, and pepper balls. A few arrests were made, but most of the rioters were able to get away.
WATCH:
What I have been explaining to people is unlike the BLM riots, this has the potential to last longer because George Floyd died once. These immigration enforcement operations will continue for the foreseeable future, in cities big and small.
Sure, some places like the ones written about here will see most of the unrest, but there have been other places with smaller populations that have experienced “direct action” against ICE and CBP agents making arrests. I testified to the House Homeland Security Committee in 2023 that if the federal government did not take the far-left threat seriously then something like the outcome of the 2024 election could result in me being as busy as I was in 2020.
That time is now here.

You are right on time. What we all got to learn about COVID communism is that it doesn't really need a credible rhyme or reason. For instance, the people calling for the release of known cartel murderers, those who actively sex trafficked women and children etc. are screaming that Donald Trump is ruling by dictat and that rules by dictat are wrong enough to riot.
They are not against arbitrary dictat. A lot of the protesting joiners are still wearing an N-95 mask in "solidarity" with Fauci's G-20 Bali/WHO rules; which the majority of people felt were abusive to personal freedoms and an obstruction ordinary medicine. So the 'No Kings' idea will become "take the mandatory medical prescriptive - or riots" in about 2 weeks during China's advertised, pre-planned Summer COVID schedule bioterror attack in July.
So event programmers at say the 50501 events club are planning about 47 - 48 more of these 'color' riot assemblies. They have to have their USAID roots finance rescinded or AG's are going to have to file on behalf of multiple cities to sue to cease federal funding of groups with a public destruction conspiracy exhibit to "burn it all down". So every time destruction, murder, arson or looting becomes their menu, organizers need to be arrested and public permits revoked.
